To provide our services, we collect the following data when you log in and use the App:

Authentication Data: When you sign in with Google, we receive your basic profile info (Name, Email Address, and Profile Picture URL).
User Content: The notes, folders, tags, and preferences you create inside the App.
Usage Metadata: Timestamps (creation and modification dates) of your notes.

2. How We Use Your Data

Your data is strictly used to provide the core functionality of the App (saving, syncing, and displaying your notes across devices). We do not use your data for targeted advertising, nor do we train AI models on your personal notes.

3. Third-Party Services (Data Processors)

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties. However, the App utilizes Google Firebase (Authentication and Firestore) to securely host and sync your data. By using BroNote, you acknowledge that your data is processed by Google Cloud infrastructure, which complies with major international security standards (including GDPR and CCPA).

4. Cookies & Local Storage

We use local storage and essential Firebase tokens to keep you logged in and cache your data for faster loading. We do not use non-essential tracking or marketing cookies.

5. Your Rights (GDPR & CCPA Compliance)

Depending on your region, you have the right to:

Access & Portability: You can download a complete JSON copy of your data at any time using the "Download Backup" button in the Profile menu.
Erasure (Right to be Forgotten): You can permanently delete any note or folder via the App's interface. Deleting items permanently removes them from the cloud database.
Opt-Out of Data Sale: We do not sell your personal data, so no opt-out is required.

6. Data Security

Your notes are transmitted securely over HTTPS and stored securely in Firebase. However, no internet transmission is 100% secure. Please avoid storing highly sensitive data (like passwords or financial info) in plain text.
